Hexagonal Gyrobicupola in a sphere (near miss)

Circumscribed Hexagonal Gyrobicupola (almost)

The two light pink struts are the same length indicating that the vertices are all the same distance from the origin, thus the vertices are all on the surface of a sphere. This feature is not a requirement for gyrobicupolae in general, but was specified as an additional design criteria for this model.

The darker pink strut is coincidentally the same length as the two light pink struts.

The white struts are all the same length. The peach struts are all the same length. The blue struts are all the same length. They form a pair of regular hexagon end caps.

However… the peach struts are NOT the same length as the blue struts, so the quadrilateral sides are not exactly rectangles as they should be for a true gyrobicupola, hence the near miss.

This model uses the polygon24 algebraic field.
